It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Robert John Watkins on October 2nd, 2024. He is survived by his brothers, Matthew and Simon, his sister-in-law Sabina and his nieces Emma & Ashlynn. Robert was a talented Senior Software Developer whose passion for technology was matched only by his love for gaming and history. An avid player of Dungeons & Dragons and a skilled painter of Warhammer miniatures, he cherished the time spent with friends and family engaged in these beloved hobbies. Robert will be deeply missed by all of his family, friends and the family dogs - Oreo, Maddy and Blossom, who brought much joy to his life. Arwr i'w deulu a'i ffrindiau oll. Cafodd ei ordeinio yn 1954 a bu'n weinidog yr efengyl yn eglwysi'r Bedyddwyr Blaenycwm, Rhondda, Caersalem Llanelli, Beulah Cwmtwrch a Hebron Caergybi. Ffôn: 01970 820013. * * * * * On October 4th, aged 100, Denis Young (originally from Drefach-Felindre) passed away peacefully and grateful to the end after a full and happy life. He was married to Arvonia, father to Einir and Llinos, father-in-law to Michael, grandfather to Tomos and Liz, Morgan and Fflur and Owen and great-grandfather to Karl Denis and Margo Haf. He was a hero to his family and friends. Ordained in 1954 he was a Baptist minister in Blaenycwm Rhondda, Caersalem Llanelli, Beulah Cwmtwrch and Hebron Holyhead.
